The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas is an unreleased Dreamcast racing game, developed by Full Fat and set to be published by Swing! Entertainment. It is based on the 2000 film of the same name, itself based on Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstones franchise. This Dreamcast adaptation was a kart racer, similar to others at the time, featuring various characters and environments from the movie. A notable thing is that, while based on a live-action movie, the game's look is more in line with that of the original Flintstones cartoons, as well as powerups being obtained through knocking bowling pins, also a nod towards the show. While this Dreamcast version was cancelled, a sample version, likely intended for the press, has since surfaced. Had it been released, it likely would've come out in late 2000, or early 2001. While it is not known if the game was meant to see release outside of Europe, the presence of Conspiracy Entertainment in the opening logos means it's likely that they would've been the North American publishers.

Crazy Taxi (クレイジータクシー) is a video game developed by Sega AM3 and published by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. for Sega NAOMI arcade hardware in 1999. It is a non-linear action/game, in which players drive a taxi across a stage inspired by San Francisco, picking up customers and ferrying them to destinations in the fastest possible time. It builds on previous experiments with this genre such as Harley-Davidson & L.A. Riders. This game was subsequently ported to the many consoles. And it stands as one of the more iconic and successful Sega franchises of the late 1990s and early 2000s, spawning several sequels, tie-ins and re-releases.

Much like the original, the core gameplay in Crazy Taxi 2 centers around picking people up at destinations which are highlighted with colored rings, and dropping them off at stated destinations. Crazy Taxi 2 added multiple pickups, which enabled the player to carry multiple passengers, (previously it was restricted to one passenger per journey). The game also saw the introduction of the "Crazy Hop" feature, which allows the player to jump over certain surfaces to save time, as they taxi passengers around the locations. By performing moves such as the "Crazy Hop" and the "Crazy Dash", the driver accumulates tips from their passengers, which increases the total score. This may be the video game your mother warned you about. Rather than being penalized for each innocent pedestrian you hit, you are rewarded in Grand Theft Auto 2. Like its predecessor, the game is viewed from a bird's-eye perspective, and you'll play as one of the little people in a vast futuristic city. The object is to prove your mettle to warring gangs by carjacking innocent victims, assassinating rivals, stealing drug shipments, and completing assorted other missions. But if you're not the type to take orders, you can do anything you want, thanks to the game's loose, nonlinear structure. For example, you can commandeer a bus and take it along its regular route--the passengers will pay the fare without noticing anything different. But if you decide to plow the bus through the side of a building--and you know you eventually will--they'll start jumping out of the windows. And because you're hopping from vehicle to vehicle, you get a good sampling of the city's radio formats--everything from techno to top 40, classic rock to country. Be sure to keep moving, though--the cops will always be on your tail.
