Players must punch, kick, and slash their way through multiple levels in their quest, facing off against both weak and powerful enemies bent on stopping them. At the end of each level boss characters stand ready to slay the player, who must defeat them to continue, for retreat is not an option. Rendered and digitized graphics are used in the game to represent the backgrounds and characters respectively, though the title runs in a low graphic resolution.

Dancing Stage Fever

2003 · Music · Sony Playstation

Dancing Stage Fever is a home video game in the Dancing Stage series, the European counterpart to Dance Dance Revolution. It was released in Europe and part of Asia in October 2003 by Konami, as part of its family-oriented 'Bemani' series. It was released in both a PlayStation 2 and a PlayStation version at the same time. The latest addition to the popular series of dancing games, Dancing Stage Fever not only offers another welcome opportunity to get your dance mat hooked up to your PlayStation, but also throws in some new goodies to keep your feet moving that bit longer. The crux of the game is the same as always. In time with the directions on screen, you need to make sure your foot hits the appropriate symbol at the right time. The more accurate you are, the better you will do. You can still play the game with a standard control pad, incidentally, but it's a fruitless exercise, especially when you consider just how cheap a dance mat is. New this time round (although when you're in the midst of a dance it's harder to appreciate it) is the inclusion of officially licensed music videos (PS2 version only). It's a nice addition, but of more interest is the roster of new songs, including tracks from the Spice Girls, Madness and numerous 80s artists. There are plenty of songs to dance to, which is what it's all about. Anyone who has enjoyed a Dancing Stage game to date is going to find few faults here. It hardly changes the formula of the genre, but then it doesn't need to. It provides a fresh dose of high-entertainment dancing fun, even if your feet will hurt by the time you've finished.

Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue

2000 · Action · Sony Playstation

The game itself follows the films' storyline loosely. The player can choose the role of one of two dalmatians, Oddball or Domino, who are out in the backyard looking for treasure. It is not long before the player realizes that a toy found buried in a park was made at one of Cruella de Vil's toy factories; this alludes to the fact that Cruella's toy sales are down, which ultimately leads to the problem in the storyline. Facing financial ruin from lack of sales, Cruella sets an evil plan in motion - to reprogram her toys to capture any pets in sight. Oddball and Domino are the only puppies in their family who have not been captured when they return from the park. Their parents, Dottie and Dipstick, set out to rescue their puppies, commanding Oddball and Domino to stay home and 'be good.' The puppies do not listen, and are soon out on their biggest adventure yet - to save their brothers and sisters, and their parents who are captured along the way.

This release of DOOM is based on The Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II: Hell on Earth and contains most of the levels and enemies from both games as well as about half dozen exclusive maps. The Doom maps are based off the Jaguar version and hence feature the same simplifications as that release. The PC Ultimate Doom and Doom II maps were converted especially for this release and also feature some simplifications, though not to the degree of the Doom maps. The engine has been upgraded to a 32 bit renderer allowing for smoother distance shading and more notably, in the PS1 version, coloured lighting. This version of Doom features also entirely new sounds and music.
