Tully Alford, the Addams Family attorney, has evicted the clan from their home (based towards the end of the movie) and to make matters worse, Morticia Addams, Pugsley Addams, Wednesday Addams, Granny Addams and Lurch have gone missing. In 1990, Nintendo reported customers spending $2.4 billion on video games, nearly half of the $5 billion spent on movie tickets the same year.
Only one other project around the same time had a similar strategy: the video game adaptation of Steven Spielberg's Hook, which was published by Sony Imagesoft.
