Monsters, Inc. Scream Team

What would you say if you found out that the scary monsters hiding in children's closet were all part of a corporate conspiracy? Well, that's the premise of the 2001 Disney or Pixar film, Monsters, Inc., and it's the basis of this videogame for the PlayStation. Play as either Sully or Mike two of the monsters hired to scare little kids as you move from house to house, just trying to do your job. The company you work for is in the business of drumming up "scream energy," so you'll have to be extra frightening if you hope to succeed. Each of the game's 3D environments is detailed and expansive, representing the movie well, and there are dozens of hidden bonuses and power-ups that you can use toy your advantage.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Rowling's immensely popular boy wizard makes his highly anticipated entrance to the realm of video gaming with this third-person 3D action-adventure based on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the first novel in the series. In the role of the prodigious young magician the player begins his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, joined by familiar characters such as Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and even Draco Malfoy. Harry Potter can explore the grounds at Hogwarts, spend time with Hagrid, and even hop on a broomstick for a quick game of quidditch. However, as in the novel, Harry's special gifts are noticed not only by his instructors but by darker forces, as well, and the player may even come face-to-face with "You-Know-Who" himself before this adventure is over.

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus is a platform video game developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by GT Interactive. Although the game is a sequel to the video game Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, it is considered a spin-off title in the Oddworld series, and not part of the main Oddworld Quintology. It was released in November 1998 for the PlayStation video game console and in December 1998 for Microsoft Windows. It was re-released on the PlayStation Network in October 2009. The game continues the story of Abe, charting his efforts to save his fellow Mudokons from another plot by the Glukkons to exploit them. Abe discovers that the Glukkons are enslaving Mudokons, this time to produce a drink called Soulstorm Brew, which uses Mudokon bones and tears as its ingredients. The player assumes the role of Abe, embarking on a quest to halt production of SoulStorm Brew. The game was released to similar critical acclaim as the first title. Reviews praised the game's ability to allow the player to quick save anywhere they liked, a feature that was not present in Abe's Oddysee, while noting that it was very similar to that title. The game won multiple awards upon release.

Vagrant Story is a 2000 PlayStation video game developed by Square Product Development Division 4 and released by Square Electronic Arts in the USA on May 16, 2000. The entire game (including the numerous cutscenes that advance the plot) is rendered in 3D. The game focuses on exploration of large, complex dungeon-like areas and combat; there are no "friendly" areas, NPC interaction, or monetary system. Dungeons contain many optional rooms and environmental puzzles that mostly involve pushing, destroying, and re-arranging different types of crates to access higher areas. Ashley can also jump and grab ledges of higher platforms during exploration.

Track hazards and tight corners present other obstacles that players need to master. Each track has its own set of unique hazards that need to be overcome in order to be a winner. For example, there are Lego barrels that can be shot away to reveal a short cut or lava geysers to avoid in Magma Moon Marathon.

Sometimes you'll need to build stairs and assign roadblocks to cross and avoid a large pit; there are instances when you'll have the lemmings climbing walls and digging in the ground. You can also bash through walls, assign bombers and float in the air. With the lives of many lemmings at your fingertips, use your powers wisely.
